KetoSCALP Lotion from Leeford Healthcare is a medicated scalp lotion containing Ketoconazole 2% and Zinc Pyrithione 1%. It is used for dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis and fungal infections of the scalp and skin, including pityriasis versicolor. The lotion form spreads easily through hair and over the scalp to deliver both actives where the yeast lives, reducing flakes, scaling and itching.

How It Works

Ketoconazole inhibits ergosterol synthesis in the fungal cell membrane, making it leaky and stopping the yeast from multiplying. Zinc Pyrithione disrupts fungal transport systems, has antibacterial activity and regulates the rapid scalp-cell turnover that produces flakes. The two work together to remove the Malassezia overgrowth behind dandruff and soothe the irritated scalp.

How to Use

• Wet the hair and scalp or affected skin
• Apply sufficient lotion and massage to form a lather; leave for 3 to 5 minutes
