Truzap Cream is an antifungal cream from Intas Pharmaceuticals containing Ciclopirox Olamine 1% w/w. It is recommended by dermatologists for tinea infections of the body, groin and feet, cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor. It works as a companion to Truzap Shampoo for patients who have both scalp and skin involvement, and helps reduce itching and scaling quickly.

How It Works

Ciclopirox inhibits fungal growth by binding iron and related metal ions, blocking metal-dependent enzymes the fungus uses to generate energy and neutralise toxic by-products. This damages the fungal cell and stops it from multiplying. The drug is active against dermatophytes, Candida and Malassezia, and its mild anti-inflammatory action helps soothe irritated skin.

How to Use

• Wash and dry the affected area
• Apply a thin layer twice daily over the affected skin and a small surrounding margin
