Trifas 1% Cream

Trifas 1% Cream is a Ciclopirox Olamine antifungal from A. Menarini India. It is used on the skin to treat dermatophyte infections like ringworm, jock itch and athlete’s foot, as well as yeast infections such as cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor. The cream spreads easily, absorbs without a greasy feel and helps settle itching and irritation during the course of treatment.

How It Works

Ciclopirox kills fungi by chelating iron and aluminium ions, which disables enzymes involved in mitochondrial energy production and peroxide breakdown. It also interferes with the uptake of amino acids and ions across the fungal membrane. This broad mode of action works against dermatophytes, Candida and Malassezia and makes resistance rare. It has additional mild anti-inflammatory properties that support healing of inflamed skin.

How to Use

• Wash and dry the affected area
• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin twice daily
• Continue for 2 to 4 weeks or as advised by your doctor
• Wash hands after use
