Ciclorox 1% Cream is an affordable antifungal cream from BDR Pharmaceuticals containing Ciclopirox Olamine 1% w/w. It is used to treat fungal infections that affect the outer layer of the skin, such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, cutaneous candidiasis and tinea versicolor. The cream calms itching and helps clear red, scaly and discoloured patches when used regularly for the full course.

How It Works

Ciclopirox Olamine is a hydroxypyridone antifungal that works by chelating iron and other metal ions inside fungal cells. This inhibits key metal-dependent enzymes, disrupts the fungal cell membrane and blocks the transport of nutrients, so the fungus can no longer survive. It is active against dermatophytes, yeasts and moulds, and its mild anti-inflammatory effect helps soothe irritated skin during treatment.

How to Use

• Clean and dry the affected skin
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice a day, morning and evening
• Use for 2 to 4 weeks or as directed by your doctor
• Wash hands after application
