Zycozol 1% Cream is a Ciclopirox Olamine antifungal cream from KLM Laboratories. It is applied to the skin to treat common superficial fungal infections including tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, cutaneous candidiasis and tinea versicolor. Its cosmetically elegant cream base absorbs well and helps reduce the itching, redness and scaling that make these infections so uncomfortable.

How It Works

Ciclopirox acts differently from most other antifungals. It chelates polyvalent metal cations such as iron, which inhibits metal-dependent enzymes involved in fungal respiration, nutrient uptake and detoxification. The result is a fungicidal effect against dermatophytes and a strong action against Candida and Malassezia yeasts. It also penetrates the skin well and shows mild anti-inflammatory activity, helping the skin recover faster.

How to Use

• Cleanse and dry the affected area
