Cicozee Cream

Cicozee Cream is a topical antifungal medicine from Talent India containing Ciclopirox Olamine 1% w/w. It is used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor. The light cream base spreads easily over affected skin and folds, relieving itching, redness and scaling while clearing the infection at its source.

How It Works

Ciclopirox belongs to the hydroxypyridone class of antifungals. Unlike many azoles, it works by binding iron and other metal ions that fungal cells need for their enzymes, which disrupts energy production, transport across the cell membrane and repair processes inside the fungus. This multi-target action gives it a broad spectrum against dermatophytes, yeasts such as Candida and some moulds, and it also has mild anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity, which helps calm irritated skin.

How to Use

• Clean and dry the affected area before use
• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and a little surrounding area twice daily
• Continue for the full course, usually 2 to 4 weeks, even if symptoms improve
• Wash your hands after application unless the hands are being treated
