Ciplar 40 Tablet
Ciplar 40 Tablet is a non-selective beta-blocker containing Propranolol Hydrochloride, manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It is widely prescribed for high blood pressure, angina (chest pain), irregular heart rhythms and several other cardiac and non-cardiac conditions. Ciplar works by blocking the action of adrenaline and noradrenaline-like chemicals on the heart and blood vessels, which slows the heart rate, reduces the workload on the heart and widens blood vessels, lowering blood pressure. It is also used to prevent migraine attacks, manage essential tremors, control symptoms of pheochromocytoma, reduce pressure inside the eye in certain forms of glaucoma, and is sometimes prescribed alongside other medicines to manage anxiety-related physical symptoms. This is a prescription-only Schedule H medicine and must be taken strictly as advised by your doctor, at the same time every day, for as long as it is prescribed.
