Revolizer Device – Dry Powder Inhaler by Cipla

The Revolizer is Cipla’s dry powder inhalation device, designed to be used with Cipla Rotacaps. A rotacap is placed in the chamber, pierced by pressing the buttons, and the powder is drawn into the lungs as you inhale – the transparent chamber lets you watch the capsule spin and confirm it has emptied. It is one of the most widely used inhalation devices in India, valued for consistent dosing and for being straightforward to clean. With daily use, one device lasts up to about eight months. Device only – Rotacaps sold separately.

Directions for Use

• Twist open the device and place one capsule (rotacap/respicap) in the chamber – never swallow the capsule
• Close the device and press the buttons to pierce the capsule
• Breathe out fully away from the device, then seal your lips round the mouthpiece and inhale quickly and deeply
• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly through the nose
• Check the capsule is empty; repeat if powder remains. Rinse your mouth with water afterwards

Precautions

• This is a device only – Rotacaps are bought separately and prescribed by your doctor
• Never swallow the Rotacaps – they are for inhalation through this device only
• Rinse your mouth after every use, especially with steroid medicines, to prevent oral thrush
• Clean the Revolizer at least once a week with a dry cloth – never wash it and never use it while wet
• Do not insert cloth or any instrument into the mouthpiece
• Replace after roughly 8 months of daily use

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep the container tightly closed so the device stays dry
• Keep out of reach of children
