Skinlite Cream (Hydroquinone, Tretinoin & Mometasone Furoate)

Skinlite Cream is a potent dermatological “Triple Combination” therapy designed to treat hyperpigmentation, melasma, and dark spots. It combines three active ingredients that work synergistically: Hydroquinone lightens the skin by inhibiting melanin production, Tretinoin (a retinoid) increases skin cell turnover to exfoliate dark pigments, and Mometasone Furoate (a mild corticosteroid) reduces the inflammation and redness that often accompany intensive skin treatments. This formulation is highly effective for restoring an even skin tone and brightening the complexion, but it must be used with caution and under professional guidance due to its high potency.

Key Features

  • Simultaneously bleaches, exfoliates, and calms the skin for comprehensive pigment correction.
  • Specifically targeted at stubborn hormonal pigmentation and sun-induced dark patches.
  • Stimulates the production of new, healthy skin cells while shedding pigmented surface cells.
  • Visible improvement in skin tone and clarity is often observed within 2 to 4 weeks of consistent use.
  • The inclusion of a mild steroid helps minimize the irritation typically caused by retinoids and lightening agents.

Key Ingredients

  • Hydroquinone (2% w/w)
  • Tretinoin (0.025% w/w)
  • Mometasone Furoate (0.1% w/w)

Precautions

  • Hydroquinone and Tretinoin break down in sunlight and can cause severe irritation if exposed to UV rays. Only apply at night.
  • This cream makes your skin extremely sensitive to the sun. You must wear SPF 30+ every day, even if staying indoors.
  • Do not use this cream for more than 2 to 3 months continuously to avoid a condition called Ochronosis (permanent skin darkening).
  • Tretinoin-based products are strictly contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to potential risks to the baby.
  • Prolonged use of steroids can lead to skin thinning (atrophy) and visible “spider veins.” Use only as long as directed by a doctor.

How to Use

  • Cleanse your face with a mild soap-free cleanser and pat dry. Wait 10–15 minutes until the skin is completely dry.
  • Apply a very small, pea-sized amount to the affected dark spots or the entire face, avoiding the eyes, lips, and nostrils.
  • Typically applied once daily at night. If you have sensitive skin, start by applying it every second or third night.
  • Follow up with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer if you experience dryness or peeling.
  • Thoroughly wash your face in the morning to remove all traces of the cream before going into the sun.
