Precautions

- Even though it is BAK-free, it is generally advised to remove contact lenses before instilling the drops. Wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting.

How to Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
- Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the Betoact dropper bottle upside down over the eye and squeeze exactly one drop into the pocket.
- Close your eye gently and press your finger against the inner corner of the eye (near the nose) for 1 to 2 minutes.
- This “punctal occlusion” helps the medication stay in the eye and reduces systemic absorption. The standard dosage is usually one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily.
- If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between different medications.
