Aklief Cream
Aklief Cream is a next-generation topical retinoid specifically developed for the treatment of acne vulgaris on both the face and the trunk (chest, shoulders, and back). It contains Trifarotene, the first new retinoid molecule approved by the FDA in over 20 years. Trifarotene is unique because it selectively targets the Retinoic Acid Receptor Gamma (RAR-γ), the most common retinoid receptor found in the skin. This precision allows the cream to effectively reduce inflammatory lesions (papules and pustules) and non-inflammatory lesions (blackheads and whiteheads) while aiming to minimize the systemic side effects often associated with older retinoids. It works by accelerating cell turnover and preventing the clogging of pores, helping to clear existing acne and prevent future breakouts.

Precautions
- Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, lips, and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with lukewarm water.
- This product increases sensitivity to UV light. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) and wear protective clothing daily.
- Avoid applying to damaged skin, including cuts, abrasions, eczema, or active sunburn.
- Avoid “waxing” or using chemical depilatories on skin areas treated with Aklief, as it may lead to severe irritation or skin tearing.
How to Use
- Apply Aklief Cream once daily in the evening to clean, dry skin.
- Use one pump actuation to cover the entire face (forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin).
- Use two pump actuations for the upper trunk (chest, shoulders, and upper back) and one additional pump for the middle/lower back if needed.
- Apply a thin layer; using more than directed will not lead to faster results but may cause significant redness and peeling.
- It is highly recommended to apply a moisturizer immediately after application (or as needed) to manage dryness and stinging.
