Osmodrops Eye Drop is a lubricating eye drop marketed by Cipla Ltd. Each ml contains carboxymethylcellulose 0.5% w/v and glycerin 0.9% w/v in a sterile solution. Carboxymethylcellulose forms a thin, smooth film over the eye surface that holds moisture in place. Glycerin draws water to the surface of the eye and helps keep the tear film stable. Together they work like natural tears and give relief from dryness, burning and a gritty feeling. It is useful for dry eyes caused by screen use, air conditioning, wind, dust or low tear production. It can also comfort eyes that feel tired after long hours of reading or driving. The drops are gentle and can be used several times a day as advised. A short blur may occur after use, so wait until vision is clear before driving. It comes in a 10ml bottle that should be used within 4 weeks of opening.

How to Use

• Wash your hands before use
• Tilt the head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid
• Put 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye as advised by your doctor
• Do not let the dropper tip touch the eye or any surface
• Keep a 5 to 10 minute gap from other eye drops and discard 4 weeks after opening
