Candid-B Cream is a skin cream from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. It combines two medicines, Clotrimazole 1% and Beclometasone 0.025%. Clotrimazole is an antifungal that stops the growth of the fungus that causes infection. Beclometasone is a mild steroid that calms itching, redness and swelling. Together they treat the infection and ease the discomfort at the same time. The cream is used for fungal skin problems such as ringworm, jock itch and athlete's foot. It is also used for candida infections of the skin folds. It works best on infections that are red, itchy and inflamed. Because it contains a steroid, it is meant for short term use only. Use it only on the advice of a doctor and complete the full course.
