Precautions

- Applying 20% Azelaic Acid to damp skin significantly increases the risk of irritation. Ensure the skin is bone-dry before use.
- Do not apply near the eyes, nostrils, or lips. If the cream enters these areas, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Azelaic acid is generally rated as Category B for pregnancy, making it one of the preferred options for “pregnancy mask” (melasma), but consult your doctor first.
How to Use
- Wash the area with a mild, soap-free cleanser and pat dry. **Wait 15 minutes** to ensure the skin is completely dry.
- Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected areas twice daily (morning and evening) or as directed by your physician.
- In the morning, apply Aziderm first, allow it to dry, then follow with moisturizer and sunscreen.
- While some improvement in acne may be seen in 4 weeks, pigment correction usually requires 3 to 6 months of consistent use.
