Logifeel IMF Cream is a keratolytic moisturising cream from Canixa Life Sciences, India, supplied in a 50 g jar. It combines glycolic acid 6% w/w, lactic acid 5% w/w and urea 20% w/w in one rich base.

Urea at this strength softens and loosens thick, hardened skin, while also pulling water into the outer layer. Glycolic and lactic acids are alpha hydroxy acids that help remove dead cells from the surface, so rough patches become smoother and more supple.

Together the three ingredients are commonly used for very dry skin, rough heels, elbows and knees, and thickened or scaly areas. The cream is applied once or twice a day on the affected skin, and regular use helps skin hold moisture better.

A mild stinging or redness can appear on cracked skin, and skin may feel more sun-sensitive while the acids are in use. Avoid the eyes and open wounds, and apply sunscreen on exposed areas. This is a doctor-advised product, so follow the schedule you are given and stop using it if the irritation continues.
