Cabgolin 0.5mg Tablet
Cabgolin 0.5mg is a prescription tablet from Sun Pharma that contains cabergoline 0.5mg. Cabergoline belongs to a group of medicines called dopamine agonists. It lowers the level of prolactin, a hormone made by the pituitary gland. Doctors prescribe it when prolactin is too high, which can cause irregular periods, milk production outside pregnancy and fertility problems. It is also used to stop milk production after a stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage. Each strip holds 4 tablets, and the schedule is usually once or twice a week. The tablet should be taken exactly as your doctor has written, as the dose and timing differ between conditions. Taking it after food may reduce nausea, dizziness or stomach upset. Tell your doctor if you have heart, liver, lung or blood pressure problems, or if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Cabgolin is a Schedule H drug, so it is supplied only against a valid prescription. Store the strip in a cool, dry place away from children.
