Placentrex Cream is a topical medicine used for wounds that are not healing, or are healing very slowly. Each gram contains the aqueous extract of 0.1 gm of fresh human placenta in a water-soluble base. It supports the repair of damaged tissue and helps the wound heal with minimal scarring. It is also reported to act against many disease-causing microorganisms. The cream is made by Albert David Ltd and comes in a 20 gm tube. It is for external use only. The wound should be clean and dry before the cream is applied. Wash your hands before and after applying it, and use it regularly as advised. Using more than needed will not speed up healing and may increase side effects. Store it below 30 degrees C, do not freeze it, and keep it away from children.
