Salirose Lotion is a topical keratolytic lotion made for warts, corns and calluses. It combines salicylic acid 16.7% w/v with lactic acid 16.7% w/v in a flexible collodion base. Salicylic acid helps soften and loosen thickened, hardened skin so it can be removed gently. Lactic acid supports the softening action and helps the area stay smooth. The lotion forms a thin film on the skin after it dries. It is meant for the affected area only, so the healthy skin around it should be protected. Before applying, soak the area in warm water and pat it dry. Gently rub off the softened surface with a pumice stone. Apply a small amount with the applicator and let it dry. Repeat as directed by your doctor. It is for external use only and should not be used on the face, genitals or broken skin.
