Dorzox 2% Eye Drop
Dorzox 2% Eye Drop is a sterile eye drop from Cipla that contains Dorzolamide 2% w/v. Dorzolamide belongs to a group of medicines called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. It reduces the amount of watery fluid that the eye makes. Less fluid means lower pressure inside the eyeball. High eye pressure over time can harm the optic nerve and lead to vision loss. This drop is prescribed for open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It can be used alone or together with other glaucoma drops such as timolol. Regular use as advised helps keep eye pressure under steady control. It does not cure glaucoma, so treatment usually continues for a long time. Each bottle contains 5 ml of solution.
