Soline 5% Eye Drop is an eye drop from Entod Pharmaceuticals with Sodium Chloride 5% w/v. It is a hypertonic salt solution, which means it is stronger than natural tears. When placed in the eye, it draws extra water out of the front layer of the cornea. This helps reduce corneal swelling, also called corneal oedema. Reduced swelling can help clear hazy or blurred vision. It is often used after eye surgery or injury as advised by an eye doctor. The drops also have a cleansing effect on the eye surface. A mild burning feeling may be felt for a short time after use. Vision may blur briefly, so avoid driving right after use. Each bottle holds 10 ml of sterile solution.
