Cyclo Tears 0.05% Eye Drop

Cyclo Tears 0.05% Eye Drop is a prescription eye drop made by Entod Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It contains cyclosporine 0.05% w/v in a sterile solution. Cyclosporine is an immunomodulator that calms inflammation on the surface of the eye and in the tear glands. In chronic dry eye, this inflammation slowly reduces the amount of tears the eye can make. By easing it, cyclosporine helps the glands return to producing healthy natural tears. This makes it different from simple lubricating drops, which only add moisture for a short time. It is mainly used for dry eye disease, also called keratoconjunctivitis sicca. Results build up gradually, and full benefit can take a few weeks to a few months of regular use. Mild burning or stinging when the drop goes in is common and usually settles. The drops come in a 3ml bottle and should be used only as advised by an eye doctor.

How to Use

• Use exactly as prescribed by your eye doctor
• Wash your hands and tilt the head back before use
• Put 1 drop in each affected eye, usually twice a day about 12 hours apart
• Remove contact lenses first and wait 15 minutes before putting them back
• Keep a 15 minute gap from other eye drops
