Ciclokon 1% Cream is a Ciclopirox Olamine USP 1% w/w cream from Eskon Pharma, supplied in a larger 50 gm tube. It is used for superficial fungal infections including tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, cutaneous candidiasis and tinea versicolor. The bigger pack is practical for infections that cover a wider area or need a longer treatment course.

How It Works

Ciclopirox Olamine blocks fungal growth by chelating metal ions such as iron, which the fungus needs for enzymes involved in respiration and detoxification. Without these enzymes the fungal cell membrane weakens and the organism dies. It is effective against dermatophytes, Candida and Malassezia, penetrates the skin well and also calms inflammation.

How to Use

• Clean and dry the affected skin
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area and surrounding margin twice daily
• Continue for 2 to 4 weeks or as directed by your doctor
• Wash hands after application
