Reatix Kit is a prescription antiretroviral combikit from Emcure Pharmaceuticals used to treat HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection. Each combikit contains two film-coated tablets taken together: Part A is Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate 300 mg with Emtricitabine 200 mg, and Part B is Atazanavir 300 mg with Ritonavir 100 mg. How It Works

Reatix Kit attacks HIV at different stages of its life cycle. Tenofovir and Emtricitabine are nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors that block the virus from copying its genetic material, slowing its spread in the body. Atazanavir is a protease inhibitor that stops the virus from producing mature, infectious particles. Ritonavir boosts and maintains Atazanavir levels in the blood so it works for longer. Together, these actions reduce viral load and help the immune system recover.

How to Use

• Take both tablets of one combikit together, exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Take with or after food, at the same time every day.
• Swallow the tablets whole with water.
• Never skip doses or stop treatment without your doctor’s advice, as this can make the virus harder to treat.

Safety Advice

• This is a Schedule H prescription medicine; use only under the care of an HIV specialist.
• Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take, as Atazanavir and Ritonavir interact with many drugs, including acid reducers.
• Consult your doctor if you have kidney, liver or heart problems, or if you are pregnant.
• Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, headache, sleep problems, rash and yellowing of the eyes; report any that persist.
• Your doctor will advise regular blood tests. Store below 30°C, protected from moisture, and out of reach of children.
