Betabrim Eye Drop (Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2% + Timolol 0.5%)

Betabrim Eye Drop is a combination of Brimonidine Tartrate and Timolol, used to lower raised pressure inside the eye in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Timolol is a beta blocker and Brimonidine is a sympathomimetic (alpha agonist); together they reduce the production of aqueous humour and help fluid drain from the eye. Keeping eye pressure under control helps protect the optic nerve and reduces the risk of long-term vision loss. It is marketed by Micro Labs Ltd and supplied as a 5 ml sterile eye drop solution.

How to Use

• Wash your hands, then remove the cap and tilt your head back
• Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it and place the prescribed drops inside the lower eyelid
• Remove soft contact lenses first and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back
• Wait at least 10 minutes before using any other eye medicine
• Replace the cap after every use and use only as directed by your physician

Safety Advice
