HCQS 200 Tablet

HCQS 200 Tablet is used to treat autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). It helps slow the progression of these diseases and relieves the pain, swelling, and redness associated with joint inflammation. It is also used in some patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to help improve glycemic control alongside other diabetes medicines.

HCQS 200 Tablet should be taken with food or immediately after a meal, which helps prevent an upset stomach. It should be taken regularly, at the same time each day, to get the maximum benefit from treatment. Since this is a disease-modifying medicine rather than a fast-acting painkiller, it can take 8-12 weeks of consistent use before noticeable improvement is felt, so the medicine should be continued exactly as prescribed even if early symptoms do not change quickly.

Hydroxychloroquine, the active ingredient in HCQS, works by calming the overactive immune response that drives joint inflammation and tissue damage in autoimmune conditions. In people with type 2 diabetes, it is also thought to improve insulin sensitivity and support beta-cell function, which contributes to better blood sugar control. This medicine does not treat infections and is unrelated to its historical use as an antimalarial.
