Sumo L 120 Suspension Strawberry is a paracetamol-based oral suspension by Alkem Laboratories Ltd, made for infants and young children. Each 5ml contains Paracetamol IP 120mg in a pleasant strawberry-flavoured syrupy base, used to relieve pain and fever from headache, toothache, body aches, cold, flu and post-vaccination discomfort. Shake well before use and give strictly as per the doctor’s or the age-wise dosage chart on the pack. Do not combine with other paracetamol-containing medicines. Supplied as a 60ml bottle; store below 30°C, protected from light.

How to Use

• Shake well before use
• Give strictly as directed by your child’s doctor, using the age-wise dosage chart as a general guide
• Measure the dose accurately using the dropper or measuring cap provided
• Can be given with or without food; giving after a feed may reduce stomach upset
• Do not exceed the maximum recommended daily dose

Precautions

• Do not combine with other medicines containing paracetamol, as this can cause liver damage
• Consult a doctor if fever lasts more than a couple of days or the child seems unusually unwell
• Inform the doctor of all other medicines your child is taking
• Use only under medical supervision in infants with liver or kidney problems
• Store below 30°C, protected from light, and keep out of reach and sight of children

Warning

• Overdose can cause serious liver damage – never exceed the dose printed on the pack
• Watch for allergic reactions such as swelling of the face, mouth or throat, itching or rash, and seek medical help immediately if these occur
• Seek immediate medical help in case of accidental overdose
• Do not use beyond the printed expiry date
