Kottakkal Dhanwantaram Kuzhampu is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil (Text: Ashtangahridayam) prepared with sesame oil, castor oil, ghee, Bala (Sida cordifolia) and a blend of Dashamoola and other herbs, traditionally used for neuromuscular and skeletal conditions of Vata origin, and for pre-natal and post-natal care.

Indication

Neuromuscular and skeletal diseases of Vata origin, prevention of Vata vyadhis, pre-natal and post-natal care.

Usage & Dosage

As directed by the physician. For external application only.

Ingredients

Tailam (Sesamum indicum), Erandatailam (Ricinus communis), Ghritam (Ghee), Bala (Sida cordifolia), Yava (Hordeum vulgare), Kola (Ziziphus mauritiana), Kulattha (Macrotyloma uniflorum), Dashamoola herbs, Paya (Milk), Daru (Cedrus deodara), Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia), Chandana (Santalum album), Sariba (Hemidesmus indicus), Kustha (Saussurea costus), Tagara (Valeriana jatamansi), Saindhava (Rock salt), Vacha (Acorus calamus), Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa), Asvagandha (Withania somnifera), Yasti (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Haritaki, Amalaki, Vibhitaki, Ela (Elettaria cardamomum), Tvak (Cinnamomum verum) and other classical herbs.
