Ciplar-LA 40 Tablet
Ciplar-LA 40 Tablet is a long-acting, non-selective beta-blocker containing Propranolol Hydrochloride, manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It is widely prescribed for high blood pressure, angina (chest pain), irregular heart rhythms and several other cardiac and non-cardiac conditions. The “LA” (long-acting) formulation releases the medicine gradually, allowing effective once-daily dosing while keeping blood pressure and heart rate under control throughout the day. Ciplar-LA works by blocking the action of adrenaline-like chemicals on the heart and blood vessels, which slows the heart rate, reduces the workload on the heart and widens blood vessels, lowering blood pressure. It is also used to prevent migraine attacks, manage essential tremors, control symptoms of pheochromocytoma and reduce pressure inside the eye in certain forms of glaucoma. This is a prescription-only Schedule H medicine and must be taken strictly as advised by your doctor.
