Propibeat 20mg Tablet is a beta-blocker medicine containing Propranolol, prescribed for high blood pressure, angina (chest pain), irregular heart rhythms and several other conditions. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals (adrenaline-like substances) on the heart and blood vessels, which slows the heart rate, reduces the force of heart contractions and lowers blood pressure. Propibeat is also used to prevent migraine attacks, manage tremors, control symptoms of an overactive thyroid, and reduce pressure inside the eye in certain forms of glaucoma. It is a prescription-only Schedule H medicine and must be taken strictly as advised by your doctor, at the same time every day, for as long as it is prescribed.
