Accurate Advanced HIV Test Kit
Accurate Advanced HIV Test Kit is a home-based, self-use rapid screening kit that detects antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in a single finger-prick blood sample. Marketed in India by Integrace Private Limited and manufactured by Alpine Biomedicals, the kit uses a three-line lateral-flow cassette that reads a control line plus separate HIV-1 and HIV-2 test lines, so a reactive result also tells you which viral type has been picked up. Each carton contains everything needed to complete the test in private – sealed cassette pouches, sterile lancet pens, alcohol swabs, buffer ampoules, droppers and a step-by-step leaflet – with results ready to read in about fifteen minutes.
Key Features
- Detects antibodies to both HIV-1 and HIV-2 on separate test lines
- Rapid lateral-flow format – results are read between 10 and 20 minutes
- Reported 100% sensitivity and over 98% specificity in evaluation
- Complete self-test carton: cassette, sterile lancet pen, alcohol swab, buffer ampoule and dropper
- Needs only a single drop of finger-prick blood – no clinic visit, no laboratory sample
Composition
- HIV-1/2 Triline Rapid Antibody Test Cassette – qualitative immunochromatographic device
- Sample Buffer Ampoule – supplied ready to use
- Sterile Lancet Pen & Alcohol Swab – one set per test
- Sample Dropper with Silica Gel Pouch – one per cassette
Uses & Benefits
- Private at-home screening for HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies without visiting a laboratory
- Useful after a possible exposure such as unprotected sex, a shared needle or an unscreened transfusion
- Distinguishes an HIV-1 reactive result from an HIV-2 reactive result on the same cassette
- Gives a fast preliminary answer so confirmatory testing and treatment can be started early
- Helps couples and individuals test regularly as part of routine sexual-health awareness
- Convenient for repeat testing after the window period, with multi-kit packs available
Directions for Use
- Open the pouch, place the cassette and dropper on a clean flat surface and let them reach room temperature
- Clean a fingertip with the alcohol swab, then prick it with the sterile lancet pen provided
- Draw the blood with the dropper and add 1 drop into the sample well marked S
- Snap the buffer ampoule and add 2 drops into the same sample well; leave the cassette flat and untouched
- Read between 10 and 20 minutes: C only is non-reactive, C plus T1 indicates HIV-1, C plus T2 indicates HIV-2, and a missing C line means the test is invalid
Precautions
- This is a screening test only – every reactive result must be confirmed by a doctor with laboratory testing
- A non-reactive result within the window period does not rule out recent infection; repeat testing after the advised interval
- Do not read or act on the result after 20 minutes, as late colour changes are not valid
- Each cassette, lancet, swab and buffer ampoule is strictly single use – never reuse or share components
- Do not use a pouch that is torn, damp or past its expiry date, and keep the kit away from children
- Not for internal or medicinal use; dispose of the used lancet and cassette safely after testing
Storage
- Store between 2°C and 30°C in a dry place
- Keep the foil pouch sealed until the moment of testing and away from direct sunlight
- Do not freeze the kit or store it in a humid bathroom cupboard
