Aciclovir 400mg Tablet is an antiviral medicine used to treat infections caused by the herpes simplex and varicella-zoster viruses. Active Ingredients
Each tablet contains Acyclovir 400mg, a synthetic nucleoside analogue that inhibits viral DNA synthesis and replication.

How to Use / Directions
Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water — do not chew, crush or break it. It may be taken with or without food, ideally at a fixed time each day. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember, but skip it if the next dose is nearly due; do not double up. Do not stop the course early even if symptoms improve — finish the full duration as prescribed.
Precautions
- Prescription required — this medicine should only be used under medical supervision.
- Drink plenty of water during treatment to help prevent dehydration and protect kidney function.
- Use with caution if you have kidney disease; dose adjustment may be needed.
- Consult your doctor if pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

Side Effects
