Apdrops Eye Drop contains Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It is commonly prescribed for bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye), which causes redness, watering, irritation and sticky discharge. Moxifloxacin belongs to the fluoroquinolone group and works by stopping bacteria from multiplying, so the infection clears. The drops are a sterile solution made by Ajanta Pharma and are for use in the eye only. They are usually put in the affected eye a few times a day for the number of days your doctor advises. Wash your hands before use and do not let the dropper tip touch your eye or any surface. Finish the full course even if the eye feels better. Each pack contains one 5 ml vial. Use only on a doctor’s prescription.
