Tenvir-EM Tablet is a once-daily fixed-dose combination of Emtricitabine 200mg and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate 300mg, manufactured by Cipla Ltd. Both are nucleos(t)ide reverse transcriptase inhibitors used together as a backbone in combination antiretroviral therapy for HIV-1 infection, and also for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) when prescribed for that purpose.
