Spegra Tablet from Emcure combines Dolutegravir 50 mg, Emtricitabine 200 mg and Tenofovir Alafenamide 25 mg in a single tablet for the treatment of HIV infection. Dolutegravir blocks the integrase enzyme HIV needs to insert its genetic material into human cells, while Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Alafenamide block the reverse transcriptase enzyme the virus uses to replicate – together this three-drug regimen restricts HIV multiplication, helps the immune system recover, and lowers the risk of HIV-related complications.
