ED-Big X Tablet – Tadalafil 10 mg + Dapoxetine 30 mg by Medrhans

ED-Big X from Medrhans Pharmaceuticals is a film-coated tablet containing Tadalafil IP 10 mg and Dapoxetine Hydrochloride IP equivalent to Dapoxetine 30 mg, for men who have both erectile difficulty and premature ejaculation. The two problems overlap far more often than either is treated, and each makes the other worse – anxiety about losing an erection hurries things along, and hurrying reinforces the anxiety. The two drugs work on completely separate systems. Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor: it blocks the enzyme that breaks down cyclic GMP, so the nitric-oxide signal that relaxes penile blood vessels lasts longer and an erection is easier to get and keep. Dapoxetine is a short-acting SSRI that briefly raises serotonin in the ejaculatory reflex pathway, delaying ejaculation. Tadalafil is also the long-acting PDE5 inhibitor – its effect can persist well beyond a day, so the window is not tied to the hour you took it. Strip of 4 tablets.

Directions for Use

• Take one tablet about 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity, with a full glass of water
• Never take more than one tablet in 24 hours
• Sexual stimulation is still needed – tadalafil does not by itself produce an erection
• Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. With or without food
• Avoid alcohol on a day you take it, and stand up slowly

Precautions

• Never take this with nitrates – nitroglycerine, isosorbide, nicorandil, or amyl nitrite “poppers”. The combination can cause a catastrophic fall in blood pressure. The same applies to riociguat
• Do not take it with, or within 14 days of, an SSRI, SNRI, MAOI, tricyclic antidepressant, lithium, tryptophan, St John’s wort or thioridazine – risk of serotonin syndrome from the dapoxetine
• Seek emergency help for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, for sudden loss or reduction of vision or hearing, or for chest pain during sex
• Not for men with significant heart disease, recent heart attack or stroke, uncontrolled blood pressure, severe liver or kidney disease, a history of fainting or mania, or under 18
• Alpha-blockers for the prostate, ketoconazole, ritonavir and clarithromycin all interact. Give your doctor the full list of what you take
• Fainting from the dapoxetine is most likely on the first dose. Headache, flushing, indigestion, back pain, nasal congestion, nausea and dizziness are the common effects

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry and dark place. Protect from light and moisture, as printed on the pack
• Keep the tablets in the blister until use
• Keep out of reach of children
