Hadensa Ayurvedic Capsules – For Piles, Anal Fissure and Fistula
Hadensa Ayurvedic Capsules from Dollar Company, Chennai, is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine indicated on the pack for haemorrhoids (piles), anal fissures and anal fistula. Seventeen herbs go into each capsule, and the formula is built around a simple insight: piles are a plumbing problem before they are a vein problem. Straining against hard stool is what forces the rectal veins to distend, and every hard motion re-tears the healing tissue. So the largest single ingredient is Basthantri at 16.67%, with Trivrit and the three Triphala fruits (Haritaki, Amalaki and Vibhitaka) working to soften stool and relieve constipation. Alongside them, Nirgundi and Nimba address the swelling and bleeding of the veins themselves, while the Trikatu trio (Sunthi, Marica and Pippali) plus Citraka improve appetite and digestion. Strip of 10 capsules. The pack is also useful alongside Hadensa Ointment, which treats the same problem from the outside.

Uses & Benefits
- Indicated for haemorrhoids (piles), anal fissures and anal fistula
- Softens stools and relieves constipation, so straining and re-injury stop
- Reduces bleeding and swelling of the rectal veins
- Improves appetite and helps digestion
- Stimulates the liver, as stated on the pack
- Works well alongside a topical treatment such as Hadensa Ointment
Directions for Use
- Label dose: one capsule three times a day, after meals
- Swallow the capsule whole with water – do not open it
- Take it after food, not on an empty stomach
- Give it time. Ayurvedic treatment for piles works over weeks; continue the course as advised
- Drink plenty of water and add fibre to your diet alongside it – the capsules work far better when the stool is already soft
Precautions
- Rectal bleeding must always be examined by a doctor. Piles are the commonest cause, but not the only one – do not assume a diagnosis and self-treat indefinitely
- Fistula in particular usually needs surgical assessment. The pack lists it as an indication, but a true anal fistula rarely closes on medicine alone – see a surgeon
- Seek medical care for severe pain, a hard tender lump, heavy bleeding, or fever – a thrombosed pile or abscess needs proper treatment
- Trivrit and Aragwadha are purgative herbs. If motions become loose or cramping starts, reduce or stop and consult your practitioner
- Tell your practitioner if you are pregnant or breastfeeding – purgative herbs are generally avoided in pregnancy. Also mention diabetes or any regular medicines
- The pepper and ginger content can aggravate acid reflux or an existing ulcer in some people
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place, as printed on the pack
- Keep capsules in the original blister until use
- Keep out of reach of children
