Finalo from Intas Pharmaceuticals contains Finasteride IP 1 mg in a film-coated tablet, and the carton carries the Rx mark – this is a prescription medicine, not a cosmetic hair supplement. Finasteride works as a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor: it blocks the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT, the hormone responsible for shrinking scalp follicles in androgenetic alopecia. Less DHT at the follicle means thinning slows and weakened hairs get a chance to grow back thicker. Directions for Use
