Respihaler Device – Dry Powder Inhaler by Zydus
The Respihaler from Zydus Cadila is a dry powder inhalation device made by Plastiape in Italy, designed to work with Zydus Respicaps. In a DPI the drug is delivered as a solid powder blended with a carrier such as lactose, rather than suspended in a propellant – which makes the formulation more stable and the device simpler and cheaper to use. The capsule is pierced in the chamber and the powder drawn into the airways by your own inhalation. Device only – Respicaps sold separately.
