Mirakem 50mg Tablet – Mirabegron Extended Release 50 mg

Mirakem 50mg Tablet from Alkem Laboratories Ltd. contains Mirabegron 50 mg in an extended-release film-coated tablet. Mirabegron is a beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes the bladder muscle while it fills, increasing how much urine the bladder can comfortably hold. It is prescribed for overactive bladder (OAB) to reduce urinary frequency, sudden urgency, and urge incontinence. The 50 mg strength is the usual maintenance dose for adults who need more than the starting 25 mg. Strip of 10 tablets.

Precautions

• Mirabegron can raise blood pressure – monitor your BP regularly; avoid in severe uncontrolled hypertension
• Common side effects include constipation, headache, raised blood pressure, nasal inflammation, urinary tract infection, fast heart rate and joint pain
• Tell your doctor about kidney or liver disease – the dose may need reducing to 25 mg
• Not recommended in pregnancy; use with caution while breastfeeding
• Not for use below 18 years of age
• Get urgent help for inability to pass urine, swelling of the face or throat, or severe palpitations

• Store below 30°C in a dry place
• Keep tablets in the original blister until use
