Calcimax OP Plus Tablet – Calcium with Calcitriol, Zinc & Selenium

Calcimax OP Plus pairs Calcium 500 mg with Calcitriol 0.25 mcg, plus Zinc 7.5 mg and Selenium 100 mcg. What sets it apart from an ordinary calcium tablet is the calcitriol: this is the active form of vitamin D, already converted, so it does not depend on the kidneys to activate it. That makes the combination useful where ordinary vitamin D would not work well – but it also means the dose needs medical oversight, because active vitamin D can push blood calcium too high. Marketed by Meyer Organics Pvt Ltd, manufactured by Pulse Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.
