Calcimax P Suspension 200 ml – Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Zinc & Vitamin D3

Calcimax P Suspension from Meyer Organics is a therapeutic liquid mineral formula, and the “P” stands for Phosphorus – which is what sets it apart from ordinary calcium supplements. Bone is built from calcium and phosphorus together as hydroxyapatite, so supplying both in a 2:1 ratio supports proper bone mineralisation rather than calcium alone. Magnesium, zinc and vitamin D3 complete the formula, with vitamin D3 enabling calcium absorption. Because it uses calcium phosphate rather than calcium carbonate, it is often chosen where a gentler, more physiological mineral source is wanted.

Key Ingredients

Each 10 ml contains:

• Calcium Phosphate IP – 774 mg, providing:
• Elemental Calcium – 300 mg
• Elemental Phosphorus – 150 mg
• Magnesium Hydroxide IP – equivalent to elemental Magnesium 75 mg
• Zinc Gluconate USP – equivalent to elemental Zinc 4 mg
• Vitamin D3 IP – 200 IU
• Flavoured base q.s. Appropriate overages of vitamin added.

One teaspoonful = approximately 5 ml, so a 10 ml dose is two teaspoonfuls.

Directions for Use

• Shake well before use.
• Take as prescribed by your physician – the dose depends on your mineral levels and condition.
• Preferably take after meals with water, to aid absorption and avoid stomach upset.
• Replace the cap tightly immediately after each use. For oral administration only.

Precautions

• Do not take on an empty stomach.
• Use with caution in kidney or liver disease – phosphorus and calcium load both need medical supervision in kidney impairment.
• If you take bisphosphonates, leave a gap of at least 2 hours.
• Calcium, magnesium and zinc reduce absorption of thyroid medication, iron and some antibiotics – space the doses apart.
• Avoid excessive doses – these can raise blood calcium and increase kidney stone risk.
• Consult your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Mild stomach upset or loose stools may occur. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

• Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light. Do not refrigerate.
• Keep the bottle tightly capped and upright.
• Keep out of reach of children and use before the expiry date.
