How to Prepare

How to Use

• Press the injection button completely to deliver the selected dose.
• Do not attempt to change the selected dose while injecting.
• Keep the injection button pressed and hold the needle under the skin for at least five seconds.
• Remove the needle from the skin and carefully detach it from the pen.
• Dispose of the used needle immediately in an approved puncture-resistant sharps container.
• Replace the pen cap after every use.

Injection-Site Guidance

• Inject only into a subcutaneous site recommended by your healthcare professional.
• Common injection areas include the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
• Rotate injection locations within the selected body area.
• Do not inject into skin that is bruised, scarred, thickened, pitted, lumpy, inflamed, or infected.

Precautions

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Protect the pen from dust, dirt, moisture, and physical damage.
• Clean the exterior using a soft cloth that is lightly dampened with water.
• Do not immerse, soak, wash, or lubricate the pen.
• Do not use alcohol, solvents, disinfectants, or household cleaning products unless permitted by the manufacturer.
• Do not drop the pen or strike it against hard surfaces.
• Replace the device if it becomes damaged or unreliable.
• Do not use the pen for more than three years after first use.

Storage
