How to Prepare

How to Use

- Do not attempt to change the selected dose while injecting.
- Keep the injection button pressed and hold the needle under the skin for at least five seconds.
- Remove the needle from the skin and carefully detach it from the pen.
- Dispose of the used needle immediately in an approved puncture-resistant sharps container.
- Replace the pen cap after every use.
Injection-Site Guidance

- Do not attempt to repair or modify a damaged pen.
- If insulin does not appear during the safety test, replace the needle and repeat the test according to the instructions.

Cleaning and Maintenance
- Protect the pen from dust, dirt, moisture, and physical damage.
- Clean the exterior using a soft cloth that is lightly dampened with water.
- Do not immerse, soak, wash, or lubricate the pen.
- Do not use alcohol, solvents, disinfectants, or household cleaning products unless permitted by the manufacturer.
- Do not drop the pen or strike it against hard surfaces.
- Replace the device if it becomes damaged or unreliable.
- Do not use the pen for more than three years after first use.
Storage
- Store the pen in a clean and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Protect it from excessive heat, dust, moisture, and sudden temperature changes.
- Do not keep the assembled pen in the refrigerator between injections.
