The standard NovoFine 32G presentation features a fine-gauge needle with a length of 6 mm. The needle is designed for subcutaneous administration, where medicine is delivered into the fatty layer beneath the skin. Its screw-on design allows it to be securely attached to compatible Novo Nordisk injection pens and many other commonly used pen devices. NovoFine needles do not contain medicine. They must be used with the injection pen and medicine prescribed by a qualified healthcare professional. A new needle should be used for every injection.

How to Use

• Wash and dry your hands before handling the needle and injection pen.
• Select a new sealed needle and remove its protective paper tab.
• Push the capped needle straight onto the injection pen.
• Turn the needle until it is securely attached.
• Remove the outer needle cap and keep it for safe needle removal after the injection.
• Remove and discard the inner needle cap.
• If using insulin, check the medicine flow according to the instructions supplied with the injection pen.
• Administer the prescribed dose using the injection technique demonstrated by your healthcare professional.
• After injection, carefully replace the outer needle cap and unscrew the needle from the pen.
• Immediately place the used needle in an approved puncture-resistant sharps container.
