Mounjaro 15mg KwikPen is a genuine Eli Lilly prescription pen delivering Tirzepatide 15 mg in 0.6 ml per dose. Composition

• Tirzepatide – 15 mg per 0.6 ml dose
• Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Heptahydrate 0.80 mg, Sodium Chloride 1.05 mg
• Glycerin – 4.8 mg
• Benzyl Alcohol 5.4 mg and Phenol 1.08 mg (preservatives)
• Hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solution (pH adjusters), Water for Injection q.s. to 0.6 ml

Directions for Use

• Inject under the skin once a week, on the same day each week – never into a vein or muscle
• Use the abdomen, thigh or upper arm and rotate the site with every dose
• Fit a new pen needle each time, then turn the dose knob until it stops and “1” shows in the dose window
• Hold the knob down until the injection is complete, then remove and safely discard the needle
• Discard the pen after four doses even if liquid remains; never share a pen or needle with anyone

Precautions

• Not a starting dose. Reach 15 mg only through the escalation schedule your doctor sets
• Do not use if you or a family member have had medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2; report any neck lump, hoarseness or difficulty swallowing
• Stop and seek urgent care for severe, persistent stomach pain that spreads to the back – a possible sign of pancreatitis
• Risk of low blood sugar rises when combined with insulin or a sulfonylurea; your doses may need adjusting
• Nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea can cause dehydration and reduced kidney function – keep fluid intake up
• Tell your doctor about diabetic eye disease, gallbladder problems or pregnancy plans; oral contraceptives may work less reliably, so use an added barrier method after starting and after each dose increase

Storage

• Refrigerate at 2°C to 8°C before first use, in the original carton to protect from light
• Do not freeze – never use a pen that has been frozen
• After first use it may be kept below 30°C for up to 30 days; keep the cap on and never store it with a needle attached
