Acuvail 0.45% Ophthalmic Solution (0.4 ml Unit-Dose)
Acuvail is a premium, preservative-free ophthalmic nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing Ketorolac Tromethamine (0.45%). Specifically engineered for the clinical management of ocular inflammation and pain, Acuvail works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes. This targeted biochemical action reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are the primary mediators of pain and swelling in the eye. Commonly prescribed following cataract surgery, Acuvail provides a decisive therapeutic response to ensure post-operative comfort and accelerate the recovery of clear vision. By modulating the body’s inflammatory response, it serves as a sophisticated, pharmaceutical-grade solution for maintaining ocular health during the critical healing phase.
