Skinbrite Cream is a topical cream that combines hydroquinone, tretinoin and mometasone furoate in one tube. It is prescribed by doctors for melasma, a common skin condition that causes brown or grey patches on the face. Hydroquinone is a skin lightening agent that reduces the production of melanin in the treated area. Tretinoin supports skin renewal and helps the pigmented surface cells shed faster. Mometasone furoate is a mild corticosteroid that calms redness and irritation that can come with the other two ingredients. Together they help dark patches fade and the skin tone look more even over several weeks. The cream is applied in a thin layer on the affected area, usually at night, as directed by your doctor. Sun exposure can bring pigmentation back, so a sunscreen and protective clothing are advised during treatment. It is for external use only and should be kept away from the eyes, mouth and broken skin. The 15gm tube is easy to carry and store below 25 degrees Celsius.
