Androtas Gel

Androtas Gel is a prescription testosterone replacement gel from Intas Pharmaceuticals, supplied as a 1% w/w preparation in which every gram carries 10 mg of Testosterone USP. It is prescribed for men whose blood tests have confirmed low testosterone, a condition that can show up as low energy, poor libido, reduced muscle mass and a generally flat mood. Rather than being injected, the gel is spread thinly over clean, dry skin on the shoulders, upper arms or abdomen, where the hormone passes through the skin and into the bloodstream over the course of the day. That steady transdermal route avoids the sharp rise and fall in hormone levels that injections can produce. The gel base is alcohol-rich, so it dries within a few minutes and leaves nothing greasy behind. Because testosterone can transfer by skin contact, the treated area must be covered with clothing once it is dry and hands washed straight after use. Dosage is set entirely by your physician and is usually reviewed with repeat blood work. The carton instructs that it be stored in a cool place and never frozen, and kept out of reach of children.
