Human Actrapid 40IU/ml Solution for Injection is a prescription short-acting insulin from Novo Nordisk used to treat type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. How It Works

Human Mixtard 40IU/ml Suspension for Injection is a prescription premixed insulin from Novo Nordisk used to improve blood sugar control in adults and children with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Each ml contains 40 IU of biosynthetic human insulin, made up of 30% fast-acting soluble insulin and 70% intermediate-acting isophane insulin. This biphasic mix covers the rise in blood sugar after a meal and also provides background insulin for several hours afterwards. How to Use
